The biggest risk in life is not to take a risk - This is one thing I say to myself everyday. We all want to live in a secured environment, and hesitate to take the road less traveled. It reminds me of the poem written by the great poet Robert Frost. I would like to quote his poem ( The Road Not Taken ) here:

Remember its not the idea, its not the concept, its not the business, that makes difference to one’s Entrepreneurial Journey. Its all about people. Its the people who like your idea, its the people who hate your idea, its the people who work work for you, its the people with whom you partner, its the people who excite you. You may have the best idea or the best business plan in the world, but if you are bad at connecting with people, consider yourself out from the game of Entrepreneurship.

It is a very well know fact that nobody reaches zenith of success by themselves. Dale Carnegie once said that, “There is no such thing as a self made man”. A person is known by the company he keeps. So whatever business you are in, surround yourself with a group of people who are themselves successful in their own way. One of the important factor, in deciding a team is to associate with people who can compensate for your weakness.

We often hear people ask,” What is the meaning of life?” or “why are we born on this Earth?” In most cases, we have our own agenda on what our purpose in life is. However, from a spiritual perspective, there are two generic reasons which define the purpose of our lives at the most basic level. They are:
- To complete the give-and-take account we have with various people.
- To make spiritual progress with the final aim of merging into God and therefore getting out of the cycle of birth and death.

Of late, I have realized that heart is more intelligent than mind. Many of you will be surprised with this sentence – well, I was myself surprised too. I have realized there are so many things beyond the intellect, which a normal mind cannot comprehend. Our heart is more closely connected with the spirit within. The moment we open up our heart, life opens up for us. So for a moment, as you read this, give your mind a rest, stop doing all those calculations which your mind always tends to do. More and more you do things from your heart, the more tranquility it will bring to you, the more serene you will become. Send your mind for vacation for some moments every day. Practice doing it on a daily basis, and you will realize that you have learnt the art of meditation. Meditation is all about reuniting your mind, body, heart and soul on a single plane.

How many of us realize the fact that Life is Beautiful and we have the option to cherish every moment of it? Life is like a garland made up of beads of flowers. In this garland each and every flower is important. Moment one flower is broken, garland’s appeal goes away. Like a garland, our life is a long journey, made up of flowers of smaller moments. We need to cherish these moments, savor these moments completely, and feel it from our heart. Means are more important than the ends. Real joy lies in the process, not in the final output. Spiritual statistics prove that majority of our life is spent in brooding over the past or preparing for the present.
