I am sure the title of this post itself must have created lots of questions in your mind. You must be thinking how can we relate Spirituality with Politics. The very theme of this article of mine is to rekindle this relationship. It is sad to let you know that today Spirituality and Politics are considered to be two totally opposite paths. Today spiritual leaders are not expected to indulge in Politics as it is considered to be a game of maneuvers and manipulations – this is a really sorry state of affairs. One thing to be clarified here is that, when I refer to the spiritual leaders I am not talking about those self proclaimed Gurus, who claim to have achieved the salvation. I am referring to spiritual leaders who are of the stature of Swami Vivekananda.

Manmohan Singh, the current Prime Minister of India, is a great economist with an excellent track record. Manmohan Singh is the person responsible for bringing about the liberalization in Indian economy, and bringing India to the global arena. He is great human being, perhaps few amongst the Indian politicians who has a clean without any cases pending against him. Everyone respects the integrity, devotion and hard work of Manmohan Singh.
