The harder you work, the luckier you get

“The harder you work, the luckier you get” - I just love this phrase. Those who can blindly believe on this epithet, and work on it, can really revolutionize their life. There are too many losers that we come across everyday in our life, who just blame everything on the sheer bad luck. But do we really have something called as luck, fortune or destiny? Indeed we do have. I dont deny that at all. But you cannot spend your whole life, thinking that one good day the lady luck will come to you and shower you with all the prosperity and good things in life. Believe me, its never going to happen. If  you continue to live life, the way you have been, then you will remain at the same place as your are. If you want to take your life to the next level, then there is only one option - hard work.

We always tend to believe that all successful people are lucky, and tend to forget the hard way that goes into the making of their success. You can take example of any successful people or world leaders.  There is no substitute to hard work. Working hard does not mean that you have to be stressed and burn out yourself. If you are feeling burnt out, then there is something wrong somewhere - this means that you are indulging yourself in activities which you are not passionate about - you should get the signal that its time to go for a change. If you really like what you are doing, and if you are passionate about your work, then time will just fly away, and you wont even have time to think that you are working so hard. You may feel a bit strained physically, but from your inside you will be the same energetic self 24/7.

Sometimes, you may feel that your hard work is not giving you returns. Dont worry at all. All your hard work is being accounted for. Your hard work is bound to manifest. You may not be able to see the immediate returns, or you may not be able to see the returns on the same line of work. But it will definitely come back to you thousand times in myriad different ways. Take my word for it. The cosmic principle has its own method of doing the mathematical calculations - it will take into account all possible permutations and combination, and give back the returns to you. I have myself personally experienced it during the first ten months of the running of my software start up company - Shapia Software. Well, in fact, I can come out with a book on my experiences. I will share all those experiences in due course of time. It is all being penned down in my personal diary.

Sometimes luck will automatically flow in for you, and believe me, it just does not flow in, like that, all the time. You have to recognize the impact and value of luck coming your way. It is then that you need to pull your socks, and go for the kill. You have to work really hard to take advantage of the luck coming your way. When the luck is falling your way, then it is not the time to be complacent, or be modest about being lucky. You have to take full advantage of it, by working hard and by achieving possibly all you  can.

Remember, work is not hard - its all fun. You just need to associate your deepest passion, with whatever you do. If you are not enjoying what you are doing, then just come out of it. You are possibly in the wrong job. You have to introspect and dig deep down within yourself, to find the job/ work of your liking - that is when you will be able to contribute creatively, and thats when your efforts will not go in vain. Some people are of the notion, that they are not fortunate enough to get the job/ work of their liking - well, all I can say is cowards say these kind of things. Those who dont have the guts to lead an outright life, can only say these things. I agree, there are compulsions, and there are some duties that you cannot go away from, but there is always a right way to do it. If you continue to do which you dont like to do, you are doing an injustice to yourself, and for all those associated with you.

Bottomline, identify your passion, work really hard towards it and enjoy the luck flowing your way. Amen.
